TideWe's hub-style see-through hunting blinds offer fast setup and excellent concealment in the field—but properly taking them down is just as important for keeping your gear in good condition. Incorrect folding or storage can lead to damaged hubs, torn fabric, or moldy interiors. Follow these steps to ensure your blind stays in great shape for seasons to come.

What You’ll Need:
TideWe hunting blind (set up)
Carry bag
Gloves (optional)
Small brush or cloth (optional, for cleaning)
Step 1: Clear and Empty the Blind
Before collapsing the blind, remove all gear and debris:
Take out chairs, backpacks, weapons, and accessories.
Brush out leaves, dirt, or mud.
Close all windows and doors to prevent snags during folding.
Pro Tip: Let the blind dry fully if it’s wet or damp—this prevents mildew when stored.
Step 2: Remove Stakes and Guy Lines
Carefully pull out all ground stakes and guy lines.
If the ground is hard, use a mallet or twisting motion to loosen stakes.
Store stakes and lines in their designated pouch or a small zip bag.
Step 3: Collapse the Roof Hub
If your tall enough colapsed the center roof hub from the exterior of the blind.
If you aren't able to reach; enter the blind and locate the central roof hub (top of the interior) and pull downward to collapse the roof.
Ensure the roof hub folds inward toward the floor.
Step 4: Collapse the Side Hubs
From outside of the blind; one by one, push each of the four side wall hubs inward toward the center.
Do not force the fabric—let the hub mechanisms fold naturally.
As you collapse each wall, guide the fabric to lie flat.
Step 5: Fold and Pack
Once all sides are folded flat, grab two opposite corners and fold them toward each other, creating a compact square or triangle shape.
Secure the blind using the integrated straps or included tie bands.
Slide it into the carry bag, making sure no parts snag or bulge.
Note: Don’t fold the blind when it’s wet or muddy—always clean and dry first to avoid odor and fabric damage.
Step 6: Store Properly
Store the blind in a cool, dry area—preferably indoors, in its carry case.
Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the blind.
If storing long-term, occasionally unpack and air it out to maintain fabric quality.
Maintenance Tips After Take-Down
Wipe off any remaining dirt or sap.
Check for rips or broken hubs before next use.
Repack with care to avoid fabric creasing or tearing.
Final Thoughts
Taking down a TideWe hub-style see-through hunting blind is quick and easy when done correctly. By collapsing each hub in order and storing the blind dry and clean, you’ll extend the life of your investment and be ready for your next hunt without hassle. A few extra minutes of care can save you from costly replacements and wasted time in the field.
Happy hunting—and until next season, take good care of your gear!
